Mary Lucille Robbins “Lucy,” 62 of Springdale passed away on Tuesday morning, October 24, 2017 at Family Hospice and Palliative Care, Lawrenceville. Born in Decatur, Indiana on February 1, 1955, she is the daughter of Mary (Danforth) Herilla of Springdale with whom she shared her home, and the late John Robbins. Sister of Doris (Elliot) Lincoln of Springdale, John D. (Toni) Robbins of Springdale, Judy (Adam) Lipinski of Pittsburgh, Hanna (Drue) Parrish of Delmont, and Brenda (Walter) Burkhart of Springdale. Aunt of Brian, Tyler, Noah, Jon, Kimberly, Cody, Jennifer, Scott, Adam, Cameron, and Quinn. Step-Daughter of Helen Robbins of Delmont. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Mikey. Lucy was a member of Springdale Methodist Church and was a Certified Nursing Assistant for 41 years including employment at both Harmar Village and the Southwest Veteran’s Home Center on Highland Drive. Her goal was to make her patients comfortable and not afraid. Lucy was dedicated to helping others and her family. She will be remembered as being the best baker, especially her brownies and also made wedding cakes for her friends and family. Lucy’s laugh will echo in our hearts until the end of time. Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 10 am. Until time of 12 Noon funeral service at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont with Rev. Megan Berkebile officiating.
