Miceli, Samuel




Samuel Miceli, 97, a lifelong resident of Oakmont passed away on Friday, December 1, 2017. Beloved Son of the late Charles and Frances (Fazio) Miceli. Brother of the late Minnie Haskins, Jeanette Galardy, Jean Miceli, John Miceli, Frank Miceli, James Miceli, and Mary Orbin. He is survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. Sam worked for many years at the former Edgewater Steel in Oakmont. He proudly served our country during World War II in the Army and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Sam achieved the Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Star Medal, American Campaign Medal, European African Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal.
