The Caring Place / Pittsburgh Center for Grieving Children – Group support for children 5 – 18 who are grieving the loss of a loved one. A group is also available for parents during the time when children meet. 1-888-224-HOPE (4673).

Grief support starting at St. Irenaeus Catholic Church:
The first meeting will take place on Thursday, April 14, at 7:00 p.m. at the PLEC building. Meetings will provide participants with emotional support, as well as practical information about what grief entails and how to move through it as peacefully as possible. If there is enough interest, regular meetings will be scheduled. Eileen Colianni, counselor and retreat facilitator can be reached at 412-860-0224.
Our Journey Without Them-For any parent or grandparent who has lost a child or grandchild are welcome to attend.
Meetings are held at the Oakmont Presbyterian Church, 415 Pennsylvania Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 at 7 p.m. on the Second and Fourth Tuesday of the Month.
