Mary Anna Szczepanski, 83, of Penn Hills, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at her home. Daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Kalinyak) Tunder. Beloved wife of the late Thaddeus "Ted" Szczepanski. Mother of Matthew G. Szczepanski, Steven R. (Barbara) Szczepanski, Christine M. (Jim) Black, Douglas S. (Debbie) Szczepanski, and Melissa L. (Vince) DeMarco. Grandmother "Mimi"of Leigh (Alan) Hallstein, Michelle Szczepanski, Zachary Black, Michael Black, Dylan Szczepanski, Delayna Szczepanski, and Kaelen DeMarco. Step-Grandmother of Carolyn (Kris) Ivanusic. Great-Grandmother of Nora Hallstein. Preceded in death by her special companion, Harry Meyers. Also survived by her "bonus" son, Brian Buzzelli. Sister of the late Michael (the late Dolly) Tunder, the late Paul (the late Anna) Tunder, and the late George (surviving spouse, Brenda) Tunder. A long time member of Holy Family Parish (St. Joseph, Verona), she was also a member of the East Suburban Friendship Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking cookies, working in her yard, tending to her flowers and chatting with her neighbors on the front porch. Friends and relatives will be received on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 2-7:30 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, August 10, 2022, 10 a.m. Holy Family Parish (St. Joseph Catholic Church). EVERYONE PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH.
