Rydeski, John Scott




John Scott Rydeski, 49 of Plum passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his home. Beloved Son of John Gerald "Jerry" Rydeski and the late Constance "Connie" (DeCarlo) Rydeski. John is survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins from his parent's families. John received his Bachelors Degree from West Virginia University, and his Masters Degree from the Keller School of Management. He was a self employed mortgage broker, previously a Manager for a short time at Equifax. He enjoyed sports, reading, and enjoyed relationships with many of his friends and associates. The highlight of John's professional career was when he worked for ACOG (Atlanta Committee for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta. He traveled to 48 cities in 84 days to set up technology for those who were to carry the torch for their respective cities, prior to the Olympic Games. Because of late shows, he carried the torch twice, once in San Jose, and once in Indiana. In Washington DC, he snuck in with newspaper reporters and shook hands with President Bill Clinton. At the time, the Number two man in the FBI wanted his resume. Services and interment will be private for the family.
