Hazlett, Charles E., Sr.




Charles E. Hazlett, Sr., 92 of Oakmont (formerly of Penn Hills) passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020.  Beloved Husband for 72 years of Bertha Jean Hazlett.  Loving Father of Charles (Margaret) Hazlett, Jr., Bill Hazlett, and Tammy (Heath) Hankinson.  Grandfather of Billy Hazlett, Chuckie (Crystal) Hazlett, Traci (Jack) Kirchartz, Robin (Fran) Villa, David Hazlett and Seth (Denise) Hazlett, Great-Grandfather of Kaylee, Trevor, Cheyenne, Kwade, Piper and Paige . Chuck was a long time member of Oakmont Presbyterian Church, the Verona Eagles, and the NALC Union Branch 84, and the National Association of Letter Carriers.  He proudly served our country in the Navy during World War II from 1945-1947.  A private chapel service was held for the family in Plum Creek Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Steve Wilson officiating and military honors.  Arrangements were entrusted to BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. Oakmont
