Walter A. Nagy, 90 of Plum died peacefully in the comfort of his home on Saturday, March 13, 2021 with his family by his side. Son of the late Walter and Wilma Nagy and brother of the late Wilma Ventmiller. Beloved Husband for 60 years of Mary Loretta (Weihrauch) Nagy. Loving Father of Sandy (Dennis) McDade, Walter (Kim) Nagy, and Marla (Eddie) Slayton. Cherished Grandfather of Aaron Nagy, Riley Nagy, Domenic Slayton, and Madeline Slayton. Walter was a member of Holy Family Parish (St. John the Baptist) and proudly served our country in the Army during Korea. He loved his garden, and so did his groundhogs! Walter will be remembered for his annual corn roast that family and friends anticipated every summer. Friends and relatives will be received on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont. Masks and social distancing required, no more than 25 people in the funeral home at a time.
