Richard R. "Dick" Wilson, 75 of Oakmont passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 31, 2021. Son of the late Gilbert Hewett and Florence (Montank) Wilson. Beloved Husband of Lee W. (Willis) Wilson. Father of James W. "Jim" (Jeannine) Stevenson, IV, Robert W. "Rob" (Kelly) Stevenson, Leslie G. Stevenson, and Caroline L. "Callie" (Lisa) Stevenson. Grandfather of James W. "Jimmy" V, Alexandra "Lexi", Maisie, Abigail "Abbey", Riley, Jacob "Jake” and Grant Stevenson. Brother of Barbara (John) Deszyck. Uncle of Jed and Annie. With the Lord as his foundation, Dick’s accomplishments were abundant. Following graduation from Yale University, he served in the Army and Reserves. And then went on to Villanova and earned a Law Degree with a career that spanned many decades. Dick’s area of expertise was transportation law and he worked with Vuono and Gray prior to starting his own law practice. Dick’s contributions to the community were plentiful. He was one of the founders of the Montour Trail and also worked for other trail groups across Pennsylvania. His love story with his wife Lee, steadfast commitment to his family, friends and church are his legacy. The family will have a private committal service at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville with military honors.
