Mary Jane Stover, 91 a lifelong resident of Oakmont passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. Beloved Wife of the late Kenneth R. Stover. Loving Mother of Timothy A. (Lisa) Stover, Retired Major William K. (Wendi) Stover, and Kathy (Marty) Mayer. Grandmother of Jennifer (Jason) Elbert, Brian (fiance Kristen Smith) Mayer, and Matthew Stover. Great-Grandmother of Blakely and Brooklyn Elbert. Sister of Elizabeth (the late Charles) McGough, John (Elaine) Hemmes, Fred (the late Barbara) Hemmes, and the late Joseph (the late Virginia) Hemmes, James Hemmes, Rosemarie (the late Don) Hackett, Paul Hemmes Jr., and Thomas Hemmes. Mary Jane was a member of Holy Family Parish (St. Irenaeus Catholic Church) and was active with RCAC. She was employed by the former Scaife Co ( AKA Kellogg American) , and later worked for Presbyterian SeniorCare, and in retirement, was a clerk at the former Mae's Hallmark. Mary Jane’s family would like to offer special thanks to Harmar Village Care Center and Heritage Hospice (especially Terri, hospice nurse) for the great care she received. and relatives will be received on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont. With New CDC guidelines released, we still prefer you wear a mask while inside our building.
