Ferraco, Angelo, Jr.




Angelo Ferraco, Jr., 88 of Penn Hills passed away on Father's Day, Sunday, June 20, 2021.  Son of the late Angelo and Elvira (Vanelli) Ferraco.  Beloved Husband of the late Sadie "Sally" Ferraco and his second wife, Carol.  He is survived by his loving companion, Angie.  Loving Father of Gary (Joy) Ferraco, Greg (Kolleen) Ferraco, Rob (Mary Jo) Ferraco, and the late Angelo Ferraco, III (Surviving spouse Karen Jankowski).  Grandfather of Kara (Dom) Ionadi, Michael (Carly) Ferraco, Alexis (Andy) Moog, Nicole, Adam, Mariah, and Rachael Ferraco.  Great-Grandfather of Noelle, Eden, and Adelaide. Brother of the late Samuel and James Ferraco.  In addition to his parents, wife, and siblings, he was preceded in death by two grandsons, Angelo IV and Nathaniel Ferraco.  Angelo proudly served our country in the Army during the Korean War.  He had many jobs, but was well known for owning several Pizza shops in Oakmont and Verona called Angelo's Pizza.  He enjoyed making wine, and loved his family, especially his grandchildren.  Friends and relatives will be received on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont.  Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, June 24, 2021, 11 a.m. Christ the Divine Shepherd Parish (St. Susanna), 200 Stotler Rd. Pittsburgh, PA  15235.  EVERYONE PLEASE MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH.  Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Verona.  Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Nate Ferraco Memorial Fund, donations welcome at any S & T Bank Location.
