Cosnotti, Rose




Rose Cosnotti, 70, of New Kensington, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021, in UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, after a courageous five-week battle with cancer. Born Jan. 21, 1951, in Bari, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Pietro and Carmella (Pavia) Mangialardi. She was the beloved wife for 51 years of Gregory A. Cosnotti; loving mother of Nicole Cosnotti, of Pittsburgh, and Anthony "Tony" (Candice Rumble) Cosnotti; grandmother of Monet, Melena, Roselina Cosnotti, and Matt Allgeier; and sister of Marie Peebles and the late Michael and Ralph. Rose was a member of St. Paul Cathedral, was an avid cook, and enjoyed gardening and traveling. The family held a private viewing and Mass at Holy Family Parish (St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, Oakmont). Interment followed in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Tarentum. Arrangements were trusted to BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC., Oakmont.
