Joseph Anthony Bergoich, 74 of Oakmont passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021. A graduate of Oakmont High School Class of 1965, he was a band leader and musician playing the accordion, bass, and guitar in two local bands, the Polkamonts and Joey B and the sound tronics.Joe's career spanned 40 years as an Electronics Technician, working for CSR (Control Systems Research), which was acquired by Contraves, which was then acquired by CMC (Cleveland Motion Control), and later was Control Service and Repair. He was a federal firearms gun dealer,was a target shooter, and rescued stray cats that had FIV, and cared for them. He is survived by his brother, Stanley F. and his wife, Nancy V. Bergoich of Georgia. Services and interment will be private. Please consider a donation to the Humane Society, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, or the Shriners.
