Edna M. Kalok (Daugherty) went to meet her Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 22, 2022. A loving Mom, Sister, Grandma, Great-Grandma, and Great-Great-Grandma. She is survived by her children, Cynthia Moore, Stephanie (Joe) Henderson, David Daugherty, Bennie (Cindy) Daugherty, and was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeannie Daugherty-King. Grandmother of 8, Great-Grandmother of 16, and Great-Great-Grandmother of 4. Sister of Dora (the late Clifford) Wells, Rose (the late John) Bauman, and the late Flo (the late Leonard) Szlanski and the late Mary (the late John) Farrell. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was a member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, Verona Moose, American Red Cross, and the Salvation Army. A waitress for many years, she then became a home health aide for over 25 years. While raising 5 children alone, she went back to school to become an LPN. After taking care of people in their homes, she retired and resided in Monroe Towers for 30 years. She volunteered at Riverview Community Action Center for 28 years, helping answering phones, delivering Meals on Wheels, bingo, and serving in the dining room, and took many bus trips. She would always say, we have a trip going, and we would tell her to go. Anyone who knew her knows she is an over the top Elvis Fan, visiting Graceland in 2010. Her hobbies included playing bingo, cards, and playing her infamous handheld games. She also enjoyed trips to the beach with extended family. She was and will always be the Greatest Mom Ever! P.S.
