Aristotle (Aris) Chris Tsouris August 15, 1953 – September 1, 2022 Aristotle (Aris) Chris Tsouris, 69, of Pittsburgh passed away on September 1, 2022 after a lengthy illness while in the care of UPMC Canterbury Place Hospice. Aris was born on August 15, 1953 in Monongahela, PA to Chris and Lefki Tsouris. He spent his childhood in Monongahela, graduating from high school there in 1971. Aris received his Associate of Science Degree from Pittsburgh Technical Institute (PTI) and continued his education at Point Park University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Batchelor of Science Degree. Aris began his working career after high school as a lead technician in the research and development laboratory at Intel Corporation in California. After returning to Pittsburgh, he enjoyed a fulfilling and dedicated career of over 30 years as an instructor at Pittsburgh Technical College (PTC) and its predecessor PTI. He started his career in education conducting theory and lab classes in Electronics Engineering at PTI. While at PTC he was an instructor and developed curriculum for new course offerings in the Oil and Gas industry, three phase power generation, transmission and distribution. He thoroughly enjoyed researching and developing the school’s aerial drone program. Aris was passionate about teaching and committed his working life to the success of his students. He took the time and personal interest to help his students achieve successful careers with local and national employers in the electronics field. He enjoyed motorcycling, his train collection, and music. He was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his mother, brother P Chris Tsouris (Michele), sister Iya (Daniel) Bolick, niece and nephews Andrew Tsouris, Eli and Sabrina Bolick. According to Aris’ wishes, a private family service and interment will take place. The family suggests donations in his memory to UPMC hospice services or Pittsburgh Technical College .
