DEASY, JUDITH A. (CAIN) Age 86, of Oakmont, passed away on Saturday evening, January 21, 2023. Daughter of the late Dr. Charles S. Cain and Anne Catherine Higgins Cain; beloved wife for 59 years of the late William T. Deasy; loving mother of Pamela A. (Bob) Garver, Lynn A. (Ron) Lamonna, Brennan R. (Kathy) Deasy, William P. (Paula) Deasy, Megan A. (Mike) Collins, and the late David J. Deasy; grandmother of Christine, Bobby (Emily), Jimmy, Johnny (Jackie), Brittany, Lauren (Aaron), Ryan, Luke, Jonah, Gideon, Holden, Hannah, David, and Will; great-grandmother of Jake, Jude, and Harper; sister of the late Frances Cain, Colleen (the late George) Brown, the late Charles Cain (Lee Andrews), and Nancy (Edward) Crawford. Mrs. Deasy taught at St. Bartholomew Catholic Elementary School in Penn Hills for 35 years. The family is grateful for the love and compassion their mother received from caregivers over her last several years. Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, from 4-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, 10 a.m. at Holy Family Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, 825 Second Street, Verona, PA 15147. Burial to follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Lawrenceville, next to her husband. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, Pittsburgh Office, 2835 East Carson Street, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
