Patricia A. Matassa "Patty Ann" age 80 of East Oakmont, passed away at her home on January 31, 2023. Daughter of the late Viola and William Settino. Beloved wife for 57 years of the late Anthony "Tony" Matassa. Loving mother of Anthony Matassa, Jr. and Tammy (Bradley) Newcomer. Grandmother of Marissa (Nick) Plavchak, Tyler (Lianna) Newcomer, and Braden Newcomer. Great-grandmother to one on the way. Loving Sister of Beverly (the late Craig) McKenzie, and the late William (surviving spouse, Emily) Settino. Pat is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pat was known as a loving babysitter to many families in the Plum area. She loved spending time in Daytona Beach, Disney World, and visiting family in Atlanta. A Longtime member of St. Irenaeus Catholic Church, she along with her husband Tony assisted for many years with the Lenten Fish Fry, working bingo, and the Summer Church Festivals. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her loving family and many dear friends. Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Friday February 3, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10 a.m. St. Irenaeus Church, Holy Family Parish.
