Lynn R. (Haskins) Spurling, age 59 of Verona, passed away Sunday February 19, 2023 after a hard fought battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Rebecca and the late Larry Haskins. Beloved wife for 32 years of the late Ray Thomas "Fuzzy" Spurling, Jr. Loving mother of Rick John "RJ" (Miranda) Spurling and Curtis (Danielle) Spurling. Sister of Patricia, Joanne, and Jessica Haskins. Loving grandmother of Madalyn Alexa, Noah Thomas, Winter Elizabeth, and Mia Rae. Step-Grandmother of Gianna Rae. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Lynn loved cooking and being in the kitchen, as well as being in the backyard with her pond, gardening, and seeing the beautiful flowers. She loved being outdoors and hanging out with her friends. Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. on Sunday February 26th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. If desired, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, Vietnam Veteran's Memorial, and Light of Life Missions in Lynn's name.
