Nanette "Nan" (Cacese) Young
9/11/1962-2/17/2023
On Friday February 17th, Nan Young (age 60) of Penn Hills formerly of the South Hills, unexpectedly passed away surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Frank Cacese and Loving Mother of Pamala and Robert Pyle and Ashley and Scott Hamilton. Proud Nana to Jacob Pyle, Andrew and Dylan Hamilton. Sister of Mark (Sandy) Cacese, Claudia Cassidy and Michelle Bruni. Niece of Josephine Rosa. Proceeded in death by her brother William Cacese and brother-in-law Ron Bruni. Also survived by her beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
One of Nan's best traits was her compassion, which she demonstrated for over 30 years in the health care field. Nan also loved crossword and jigsaw puzzles but not nearly as much as the laughter and smiles that she produced from her family with her traditional Christmas gag gifts. Her fun loving spirit will be missed by her family and friends. Friends and relatives will be received on Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. and on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 10-12 noon for a celebration of her life.
