Angelo Pennacchia, age 95 of Verona passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 5, 2023, with his family by his side.

He was the son of the late Virginia and Francesco Pennacchia and stepson of the late Antonio Gallo.  Loving and special partner for 42 years to Janet Fields.  Father of Linda (Greg) Ruefle, Terri (Phil) Minnich, Angelo (Mary) Pennacchia, Tina Pennacchia, and the late Diane Rodgers (Tim and significant other Mary).  Brother of the late Tony Gallo and the late Mary Lausch.  Grandfather of 11.  Great-grandfather of 24, and great-great-grandfather of 1.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Angelo loved sports and was very into fitness as an avid walker and doing pushups well into his nineties.

Friends and relatives will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139 on Friday September 8 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with military honors.  Private Honorable burial will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
