Jarett R. Basgall "Ray", age 37 of Verona, passed away on Monday April 3, 2023 after fighting illness his entire life. He is the beloved son of Sharon (Chuck) Baskin and Steven (Significant other Barbara Jean) Basgall. Loving grandson of Vonna (late Hubert) Basgall and the late Jack (late Maxine) Odom. Loving step-brother to Shane (fiancee Kelsey) Baskin and Samantha Baskin. Nephew to many caring aunts and uncles. Ray loved video games, roller coasters, especially while visiting Universal Studios in Florida. He had a passion for anime and loved dressing up and attending Tekko conventions in downtown Pittsburgh. He loved reading and collecting recipes, and while struggling with eating himself, he found great joy in what went into making a meal. Family and their guests are privately invited to the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Good Friday April 7 from 10am-12 noon where a funeral service will be held at 12 noon with Rev.
