Bennie Will Cox

Bennie Will Cox, 92 of Indiana Township, passed peacefully at home on Thursday March 5, 2026 with wife and son by his side. Son of the late Lula Bell and Birt Cox. Beloved husband of 48 years to Wynona Cox. Loving father of Audella J. James, Joel Cox, and Alette Stevens. Also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Brother of the late Elizabeth Cox Simmons. Survived by nieces Michelle and Vanatte.

Bennie attended Oakmont High School where he played football and enjoyed the sport along with basketball all of his life. He then worked as an operating engineer for the Local 66, passionate about running heavy equipment. He was known as a "drive by preacher", most of all Bennie was a Christian and beloved family man.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday March 12, 2026 from 11 a.m. until services at 12 noon at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139.
