Bernadette Monroe

Bernadette Monroe, 79 of Pittsburgh, passed away on Tuesday September 1, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Bernadette and William Rose Sr. Loving mother of Jim (Tina) Monroe, Theresa Monroe, Yvonne Monroe, and the late Michelle who passed away the same day later in the evening.

Grandmother of Christopher, Daviea, Tia, Hasan, Rasheed, Kimora, Aiesha, Anthony, and Ayanna. Great-grandma of R.J. Jr., Deniro, Kyson, Yah'Nour and Moriya. Sister of Sonny, Melvin, Veronica, the late Harry, late Gloria, and the late Regis. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was a member of The Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center.

Bernadette will be remembered as very loving, caring, and giving. She was adored by her family.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday September 6, 2026 from 1-4 with a service at 4 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont PA 15139.
