Carol J. (Carpenter) Withum, age 81 of Penn Hills passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday morning January 11, 2024.

Daughter of the late Florence and Raymond Carpenter.  Beloved wife of 58 years to the late Richard A. Withum, Jr. who predeceased Carol in May of 2022.  Loving mother of Kimberly (Robert) McConnell, Richard (the late Tina) Withum, and Melissa (the late Joseph) Galiardi. Grandmother of Savannah (Marcus) Poyer, Chelsea (Derek) Ehlers, Tiffany Withum, Courtney Withum, Sara Galiardi, Emma Galiardi, the late Eric, and the late Kevin. Great-Grandmother of Lillian and Addelynn Poyer.  Loving Aunt of Kenny (RuthAnn) LaDrew, and many nieces and nephews.
Sister of the late Ron (surviving Doris) Carpenter, Ray (late Sherry) Carpenter, Ed (Sue) Carpenter, late Kenneth (surviving Linda) Carpenter, the late Catherine Tedrow and the late Marion (late Homer) Hinzey.

Carol loved to sing, dance, karaoke, garden, disco music, hummingbirds, flowers, and grandfather clocks.

Friends and relatives will be received on Saturday January 13, 2024, from 2 - 6 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 ALLEGHENY AVE. Oakmont, PA 15139.  A blessing service will be held at 6 p.m. in the funeral home with Sister Lynn Miller officiating.
