Catherine Eve Semprevivo

Catherine Eve Semprevivo, 85 of Plum, passed away on October 24th, 2026. She passed peacefully with her sleep after a short illness. Born on July 21st, 1941, as the only child of Michael and Nancy Dufaul. Catherine, or “Kitty” as she was affectionately called by her friends and family, lived her entire life in the Pittsburgh region.

Cathrine graduated from Riverview High School in Oakmont in 1959 and graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1963, with a degree in teaching. She worked for several years as a teacher in Oakmont, before retiring. She then spent over thirty years working as a Nanny in her later years, supporting several families with her skills and affections.

Aside from her parents, Catherine is preceded by her ex-husband Dennis “Curly” Semprevivo Sr., and a daughter, Michele Nan Semprevivo-Fike. She is survived by her children, Dennis Semprevivo Jr., and Denise Peachy and her grandchildren Marcus Fike III, Jeffery Peachy, Amanda Peachy, and Aubrey Semprevivo, along with several great-grandchildren and her cousin, Patricia Capar.
