Charlene Mitcheltree, age 71 of Fort Myers, FL and formerly of Verona passed away after a hard fought battle on Tuesday January 14, 2025.  She was the daughter of the late Emil and Florence Caruso.  Beloved wife of 53 years to Daniel Mitcheltree.  Loving mother of Michelle (Jorge) Mazur, Pam (Mike) Wetmore, Kristy (Terrance) Mitcheltree, Jennifer (Andy) Mitcheltree, and Daniel (Shawna) Mitcheltree.  Grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 4.  Sister of Sandy (Bob) Browell and Sherry (Michael) Naumoff.  Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Charlene loved to read.  She also loved to cook, bake, and listen to music especially at Christmas time.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday January 16, 2025, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.  Additional visitation will be held on Friday January 17, 2025, from 10 a.m. until services starting at 11 a.m. by Rev. Tim Williams.
