Charles "Charlie" Gaiser, 85 of Verona, passed away at home on Wednesday September 16, 2026. He was the son of the late Mable and Floyd Gaiser. Beloved husband of 40 years of Joanne Gaiser. Loving father of Vikki DeChantal, Darrin Gaiser, and Jenelle (Andrew) Dubrawsky. Loving Pap of nine grandchildren. Brother of Louise (late Larry) Osselborn. Preceded in death by children Linda Garrett (surviving Alan), Paula Healey, and Gary Gaiser, also grandson Jacob Gaiser, and siblings Donald (survived Alma) Gaiser and Coralee Cranmer (late Ronald).
Charlie was employed at Edgewater Steel until closing for over 30 years. He later worked at the Riverview School District in the maintenance department. He was an Oakmont Fireman, an Oakmont Auxilary Policeman, volunteered many hours at the VA hospital, a member of the Verona Masonics, a life member of the Oakmont Elks, played in the Marine Corps band, and was a Boy Scout leader.
He enjoyed fishing with his friend Bill Nay and all electronics.
The family expresses deep gratitude and thanks to Tina Nay and Interim Health Care and Hospice for their dedication to Charlie.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday September 19, 2026 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont PA 15139.
An Elks service will be held at 6:30 p.m. and funeral service at 7 p.m. on Saturday the 19th.
