Christine Helen Brace, age 88, passed away at Aurora Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, WI, on January 22, 2024. She was born on September 13, 1935, in Pennsylvania to parents Ignatius and Jessica Kobus.

Our mom was the strongest woman, wife, mother and grandmother you would ever meet. She wasn't afraid of anyone or anything. She was fierce and always said what was on her mind. She always sacrificed her needs for the good of her family.

After marrying the love of her life, Anthony Brace, she gathered her Polish roots and not only mastered her role as a homemaker but was an amazing cook. She loved cooking for her family and spending time in the kitchen.  More than anything, Mom loved being a mom.

Christine is survived by her children, Anthony J.  Brace, Helena (Denny) O'Block, Anita J. (Angelo) DeBartolo, Joseph (Mary Lynn) Brace, Khristina (Brien) Risher, and Maria (Damien) McClinton; 13 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Christine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Anthony, and her parents.

Friends and family will be received on Saturday January 27, 2024, from 10- 11 a.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 with a blessing service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home.  Interment to follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pittsburgh
