Clifford Forest Stumpf, 87 of Summerville, SC (formerly a longtime resident of Bedford, Pennsylvania) passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023. Son of the late Virgil and Ada Stumpf. Husband of the late Wilma Stumpf. He is survived by his daughter, Sherri Lucas, Granddaughter Chelsea (Lucas) Brandt, and her husband, Sean Brandt, his Sisters Sara Smith and her husband, Harry Smith, and Wilma Ware (the late Gerald Ware) He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Clifford proudly Served 4 years with active service in the Army and Served 16 years Army Reserve retiring at the rank of First Sergeant.
He was Employed for 30 years at Evitts Creek Water Company, Bedford, PA.
Upon retirement, he obtained his CDL and was employed by Schneider Trucking Company.
He was highly skilled in woodworking, plumbing, and electrical work.
He was a seeker of knowledge and enjoyed reading throughout much of his life to continue learning. Friends and relatives are invited to a chapel service at Sunset Memorial Park, 13800 Bedford Rd NE, Cumberland, MD 21502, on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 11 a.m.
