Rita (Rondinelli) Cugini, 93 of Morningside passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Born in Alvito, Italy on June 3, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Victoria (DeCarolis) Rondinelli. Beloved Wife of the late Vincent Cugini, who preceded her in death in 2006. Loving Mother of Rocco (Sue) Cugini and the late Anthony (surviving spouse, Julianne) Cugini. Grandmother of Christina (Jonathan) Graswick, Danielle (Mark) DeRose, Vincent (Brandi) Cugini, Robert (Kelly) Cugini, Christopher Cugini, Annamarie (Brian) Koller, Angela (C.J.) Carey, Julia (Brendan) Gallagher, Anthony (fiance Victoria) Cugini, and Mary Cugini. Great-grandmother of 22. Sister of Nazzareno (Fulvia) Rondinelli, Maria Rondinelli, and Pompea Rondinelli, and the late Antonette, Nannina, Lella, Olivier, Louis, and Rosemary Rondinelli. Rita was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. Raphael Parish. Her family was everything to her, and she enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners. Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, April 14, 2023 from 2-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont.
