Cynthia Lynn "Vokes" Bosco, 65, of Springdale, passed away Monday, June 09, 2025, surrounded by her family in The Canterbury Place in Lawrenceville. She was born in Pittsburgh on August 30, 1959, to the late Eugene C. Vokes Sr. and Ruth Ann Godlewski Vokes. She was a 1977 graduate from Valley High School, being a lifelong resident of the area. In her earlier years, she was a waitress at Hanes Restaurant in Lower Burrell working there for many years. She then decided to be a stay-at-home wife and mother, taking care of her family.
Cindy was a beautiful, loving and caring person, with a huge heart, who always gave to others and not herself, especiallygiving first to her family. She loved to care for people and would always give and not take. She had a passion for cooking, gardening, playing the lottery and buying her scratch off tickets. She was always fun to be around making people laugh. She was a very strong woman and a fighter. She battled her illness to the end giving all the strength that she had.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Gregory Bosco, her two daughters Tara Sundberg and Kayla Grimm, grandchildren Jace, Eliana, Jayden and Starlyn and her sisters Debbie (Clive) Wilson and Jeannie (Jim) Ipoletta. She is also survived by her nephew Brandon and his wife Pam, nieces Tiffany and Amanda, great nephew Jacob and great nieces Adrianna and Dustie.
Cindy was preceded in death by her little brother Eugene C. "Buck" Vokes Jr.
She will be greatly and sadly missed by her family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
