Daniel F. Schultheis, 69, of Verona, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026.
Dan was the beloved son of the late Richard and Margaret Schultheis; devoted husband of the late Jeanne DiCicco Schultheis; loving father of Logan and Roxanne Schultheis; proud grandfather of Nova Morris; and cherished brother of Mark and Charlie Schultheis.
Dan was the true “MacGyver” of the family. Whether you needed a good laugh, a furnace repaired, a treehouse built, or even something as simple as changing a lightbulb, he was always the person you could count on. There seemed to be nothing he couldn’t fix and no challenge he wouldn’t tackle with creativity, determination, and a smile.
More than his remarkable skills, Dan will be remembered for his heart of gold. He treasured time with his family and believed the greatest gift was creating lasting memories together. From adventures in Canada during a blackout to unforgettable hunting trips in Alaska, he embraced every opportunity to explore, laugh, and share life’s experiences with those he loved.
His kindness, generosity, sense of humor, and unwavering willingness to help others will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but the memories he created and the love he gave will remain with his family and friends forever.
Guests are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church of Holy Family Parish, 825 Second St., Verona, PA 15147. Dan will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife at Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
