Obituary

David Charles (Dave) Dalsass, 78, of Murrysville, passed away peacefully on November 12th, 2025. Born on April 30th, 1947, he grew up in Verona and graduated from Verona High School. After graduating, he enlisted into the U.S. Marine Corps and served from 1966 to 1968 including 13 months in Vietnam. After his service, he attended CCAC. He retired after 30 years from G.I.S. Industries as a fastener salesman. He served as Commander for the Oakmont American Legion Post 600 for several years starting in 2005.

David was an avid golfer and enjoyed challenging his many golfing buddies over the years. He also enjoyed his dogs, reading and the backyard pool.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Lois (Gustavson) Dalsass; his children Donna Dalsass, Kristen (Tony) Molinaro, and grand-children Jacob Vrudney and Samantha Molinaro. He is survived by his brother Dennis (Debbie) Dalsass and sister-in-law Charlenne Dalsass, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. David was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Virginia Dalsass,  twin brother Joseph "Pat" Dalsass, and brother Daniel (Danny Boy) Dalsass.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the compassionate staff at Kane Regional Medical Center of McKeesport and Advantage Hospice for the wonderful care David received.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or The Wounded Warrior Project

Friends and family will be received Monday, November 17th, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA, 15139.

A blessing service officiated by Sister Lynn Miller will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18th, 2025, in the funeral home with representation from the American Legion Post 600.

Burial will full Marines Honors Wednesday November 19th, 1 p.m. at The National Cemeteries of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.
