James W. DeZort, Sr., 82 of Plum (formerly of Oakmont) passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022. Beloved Husband of the late Lorraine H. DeZort. Loving Father of James W. (Kim Charlmers) DeZort, Jr., Timothy (Karen) DeZort, and Cindy (Mark) Salvas. Father-in-law of Christine DeZort. Brother of Charles "Chickie" DeZort and the late Ruth Ann DeZort. Grandfather of Christi DeZort, James W. DeZort, III, Jacob DeZort, Joshua (Karianne) DeZort, Lauren (Chris) Litle, Joseph (Megan) DeZort, Catherine DeZort, Alex Hujdus, Mark "MJ" Salvas, and Jessica Salvas. Great-Grandfather of Max, Marlee, Maddison, and Maveryck. Jim was a founding member and President of the Western Pennsylvania Bass Association and a member of River Rats Poker League. He was an avid hunter and bass fisherman who enjoyed hanging around the fire with his family.
