Dolores "Dee" Ann Matthews, age 83 of Verona, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday April 1, 2025 at UPMC St. Margaret's.  Daughter of the late Anna Grego.  Beloved wife of 27 years to John R. Matthews, Sr.  Loving mother of Rob (Martin Alcocer) Matthews, Jr. and the late Randall "Randy" Patrick Matthews.  Sister of Richard (Ethel) Komlosky and sister-in-law of David (late Sherry) Matthews.

Dee was known for her deep Catholic faith and love for arts and crafts.

Friends and family will be received on Friday April 4, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.

A blessing service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home followed by burial at St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery in Indiana, PA.
