Dora M. (Kasavage) Kelley, age 79 of Lower Burrell passed away on Thursday June 20, 2024.  She was the daughter of the late John C. and Martha Ruth McKalip.  Dora graduated from Oakmont High School.  Dora was a survivor and a warrior and was able to accomplish what she wished in life - being a wife, mother, and grandmother.  She loved spending time with friends and family, including shopping with her daughter, and spending time with her dogs (Ginger and Mindy) and grand pets (Samson and Cosmic).  She is survived by her two children Kevin Kasavage and Karen Kasavage, both of Lower Burrell, and grandson Da'Vonte Burek.  Dora is also survived by 4 stepchildren, multiple grandchildren (including Amanda Hockenberry who resided with her) and several great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brother Bob McKalip of Murrysville.  Dora was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Kasavage, her second husband, John Kelley, her son Christopher Kasavage and stepdaughter Diane Hockenberry, her sister Marge Anderson, and her brother and best friend, Jack McKalip.  Dora will be greatly missed by all whose lives were touched by her.

Friends and family will be received on Monday June 24, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.  A blessing service will be held the following day on Tuesday June 25, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.  Interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial Park in Lower Burrell.
