Dorothy Schlessman, age 76 of Harmar Township, passed away on Thursday April 25, 2024, at home surrounded by her family.

Born on July 6, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Katherine and Julius Thomas.  Married to her high school sweetheart the late David L. Schlessman on August 1, 1964, who predeceased Dorothy in 2020.  Loving mother of Holly and Amy Schlessman. Grandmother of Matthew and the late Rachel Schlessman.  Sister of David Thomas the late Jeanie Thomas.  Aunt of Michael (Ramona) Diehl and great-aunt Marissa Diehl and Mariah (Brandon) Monroe.  Great-great Aunt to Harper Monroe.

Dorothy loved being around her family, had a great sense of humor, and was very religious and spiritual.

Private burial and services for the family were held.
