William Joseph Dye, 80 of Penn Hills passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. Son of the late Robert and Margaret (Della Salla) Dye. Beloved Husband for 57 years of Frances Dye. Loving Father of Bill (Krista) Dye and Michele Cherry. Grandfather of Alexis Cherry, Brian Dye, and Michael Dye. Brother of the late Robert Dye and Raymond Dye. Bill was a member of Holy Family Parish (St. John the Baptist), was an avid Steeler fan, and enjoyed golfing. He was known as the "Mayor" at Webb's Gym, where he had many friends and connections. Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 3-7 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont. A service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday at the conclusion of the visitation. Memorials may be made in his name to the American Heart Association.
