Eileen A. Tonnessen, age 77 of Coraopolis and formerly of New Jersey and Oakmont, passed away on Sunday August 11, 2024.

She was the daughter of the late Stephen and Dorothy Menarchik.  Beloved wife of the late Leif Tonnessen.  Loving mother of Dan (Lori) Raab.  Sister of the late Allan Douglas (late Donna Jean) Hess.  Grandmother of Dalton (Jamie) Raab and Danielle Raab.  Great-grandmother of Logan and Madison.  Also survived by nieces and nephews Karen (Dan) Meinert, Kimberly (Perry) Moore, Allan (Diane) Hess, and Darren (Jamie) Hess.

In Eileen's earlier years, she worked as a branch manager at Amboy National Bank In New Jersey.  She was also the boutique specialist at Morning Glory in Murrysville.  She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, loved to watch game TV shows, and playing cards.  She was extremely devoted to her family and will be missed by all she leaves behind.  Eileen was known by all as a classy lady and will be remembered as such.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday August 18, 2024, from 2 - 8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 where a service will be held at 7 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Grant Abe officiating.  Parting prayers and goodbyes Monday morning August 19, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with interment following at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Cheswick.
