Elaine Yialouris,  age 75 of Oakmont passed peacefully at home on Tuesday November 11, 2025.

Daughter of the late Mario and Patricia Yialouris.  Loving sister of Lana Yialouris.

Elaine was a retired elementary school teacher.  She taught in the Pittsburgh Catholic Diocese at St. Paul Cathedral and St. Agnes School in Oakland for 30 years.  She taught various subjects, but her favorite was reading.  She was a dedicated teacher who inspired her students to love books and reading.  Elaine herself was an avid reader.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Oakmont Carnegie Library.

Friends and family will be received on Friday November 14, 2025, from 10-11 a.m. at the Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, 12 Washington Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.  Funeral mass will start at 11 a.m.

Burial will follow at Homewood Cemetery.
