Emil "Dick" Frohnert, Jr. age 100 of Dorseyville, passed away peacefully at home on Friday November 21, 2025.  He was the son of the late Millicent and Emil Sr.  Beloved husband of the late June Frohnert.  Loving father of Rick (Betty) Frohnert and Carol (significant other Bob) Frohnert.  Grandpa of Ashley (Tony) and Renee (fiancé Brad). Brother of Ken (late Mary Jo) Frohnert.

Dick was a hard worker.  He enjoyed gardening and riding his bike, well into his 99th year of life, riding 5 miles a day.  He worked in the geophysics department at Gulf Research Lab for 39 years.  Dick was a proud Coast Guard combat vet in WWII.

Friends and family will be received on Monday November 24, 2025, from 1-3 and 5-7 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont PA 15139. Funeral service will be Tuesday November 25, 2025, 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery next to Dick's wife, June with Coast Guard Honors.
