Eric Meade, age 65 of Penn Hills passed away suddenly at home on New Year's Eve, Wednesday December 31, 2025. He was the son of the late Susan and Gary Meade. Loving brother of Mindi (Rob) Battiste, Erin Meade, and David (Lorraine) Durley. Uncle of Joel (Ashley) Battiste, Kassidy Battiste, and Jesse Meade. Preceded in death by three siblings, Terry, Mark, and Mike.

Earlier in his life, Eric was really talented working with his hands. He loved to create and build woodwork and was a lifelong auto body repair man and car painter. He adored animals.

The family hopes and prays that Eric is finally at peace from any of his earthly troubles and demons.

He is reunited with his mom, and he valued their special relationship.

He will be buried with his parents at Plum Creek Cemetery, and the family will hold a gathering at a later date.
