Esther B. Swarner, age 98 formerly of Penn Hills passed away on Friday February 21, 2025.  Daughter of the late Martha and James Bourne. Beloved wife of the late William H. Swarner.   Loving mother of Robert (Julie) Swarner of Export and Blaine (Mary Grace) Swarner of O'Hara. Grandmother of Goldie.  Sister of the late Samuel Bourne, James Bourne, Tom Bourne, Annie Rowley, and the late Martha Ewart.

Esther enjoyed playing the piano and organ.  She enjoyed working in the pharmacy at Columbia Hospital.  She liked reading and taking care of others.

Friends and family are invited to a funeral service on Wednesday March 5, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.

Burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
