Eva J. (Churchel) Buterbaugh, age 81 of Plum Borough passed away peacefully on Monday August 12, 2024.

Daughter of the late Janetta and John Churchel.  Beloved wife of 53 years to the late Harry T. Buterbaugh.  Loving mother of Janie (David) Beacom of Murrysville, Susan Pernice of Cranberry, and Sandra (James) Leisifer of Plum.  Grandmother of Michael (Michele), Lauren, and Olivia Pernice, Emma Beacom, and Makenna Leisifer.  Sister of Adrain (Joe) Laslo, the late Ralph (late Marcie) Churchel, the late Blanche (late Jay) Roote, late Carol (late Joe) Float, late John R. (surviving Bonnie) Churchel, late Bob (surviving Shiela) Churchel, and the late Colleen (surviving Phillip) Rydeski.  Eva was a wonderful cook and could make just about anything in the kitchen.  She loved spending time and being around her family and will be dearly missed by them all.

Friends and family will be received on Wednesday August 14, 2024 from 1-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.  A funeral service will be held the following day at 10:30 a.m. Thursday August 15, 2024 in the funeral home with Eva's niece, the Rev. Laurie Lesoon officiating.  Burial will follow next to Harry at Allegheny Cemetery, Lawrenceville.
