Frank Peter Difatta, 93 of Cheswick, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday November 4th, 2024.

Frank was born on June 29, 1931, to Dominic and Margaret (Simco) Difatta in Oakmont, PA.  After graduating from Oakmont High School, Frank went on to serve in the Navy and then technical school where he learned to be an electrician.

He went on to work as a maintenance electrician for 31 years at the Westinghouse Electric plant in Cheswick before retiring in 1993, although Frank may have been best known for owning and operating Difatta's Produce Market on Route 909 between Oakmont and New Kensington, selling fresh corn and produce until 2015.

Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, antiquing, and casino trips.

Frank was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Mary Ann (Fallon) and is survived by daughter Cheryl Ann Difatta of Los Angeles, Frank J. Difatta (Dar) of Verona, PA, and Dominic Difatta (Kristen) of Rural Ridge, PA.  Also survived by grandchildren Shelley (Chad) Brumbaugh, Darrian Difatta, Dante Difatta, Evan Weiser, and the late Melissa Difatta.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday November 7, 2024, from 3 - 7 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.  Blessing service will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.  Interment and Navy Honors to follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens.
