Georgia A. Marci, age 62 of Verona passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday December 17, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Nannette (Thor) Thornton and George Thornton.  Loving wife of 35 years to Richard G. Marci.  Loving mother of Lindsey (Josh) Howard.  Sister of Maureen (late Norm) Bell, Sharon Thornton (Greg Lewis) and Susan (Brian) Thornton-Lara.  Beloved Grandma-G of Quinn. Loving Aunt of Joette, Nicholas and Madison.  Georgia will be remembered as having a feisty personality and loving her Diet Coke.

Friends and family will be received at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139 on Wednesday December 20, 2023 from 2-8 p.m.  A blessing service will be held Thursday December 21 at 2 p.m. in the funeral home with Sister Lynn Miller officiating. If desired, donations can be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
