Geraldine "Tootsie" Hanlon, age 85 of Verona, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Friday May 31, 2024.  Daughter of the late Duff and Hilda Regan.  Beloved wife of 60 years to Matthew Hanlon.  Loving mother of Brian (Donna) Hanlon, Craig Hanlon, and the late Kevin Hanlon.  Grams to Katie (Ryan) Berner, Laura (Jon) Ruperto, Danielle Hanlon, and Zachary (significant other Acelynn Zimmerman) Hanlon.  Great-grandmother to Finnegan, Maddox, Maggie, Jordan, Enzo, Declan.  Sister of Arlene (late Paul) Omasits and Ruth "Bubbles" Regan.  Also preceded in death by ten siblings.  Survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Tootsie was an auxiliary member of the Point Breeze Fire Hall in Verona and was very involved at the William McKinley School.  She loved to cook and loved her family.  She will be dearly missed by all.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday June 4, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., at 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday June 5, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Parish - St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Verona.  EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment to follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
