Greg (George) Chesmar, age 87 of East Oakmont passed away peacefully at home on Monday morning October 23, 2023.

He was the son of the late Anna (Kuchinko) and George Chesmar. Longtime loving partner to the late Jeannine Frantz of over 40 years and previous spouse to Mary Lou Pont.  Loving father of Brett (Debbie) Chesmar, Eric (Barb) Chesmar, Terri Chesmar, Colleen (Arnie) Caffas.  Even though Greg and Jeannine were never married he always thought of her children as his own in: John (Tracie), Vicki (Kevin), Carol, Christine, Daphne (Bob), and Eric (Craig).  Brother of the late Geraldine (late Bob) Armstrong, and the late Dolly (late Tom) Gardner.  Loving Granddad of Lauren, Lindsey, Greg, Aubrey, Nathan, Abigail, Madeline, Paul, Claire, and Jonathan.  Great granddad to Emerson, Cameron, Judah, Penelope, and Oliver.

Greg was a longtime resident spending the majority of his life in the Philadelphia area.  He loved his time traveling to Europe with Jeannine.  He enjoyed skiing, camping, attending the symphony, building his own business, and most of all his time spent with and around his family.

A celebration of life will be held a future date to be announced.  Arrangements entrusted to the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., Oakmont.
