Harry N. Andrews, age 93 passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Wednesday September 6, 2023. He was the son of the late Nicholas and Anna (Xenos) Andrews. Beloved husband for 65 years to the late Angeline E. Andrews, who predeceased Harry just a year ago. Loving father to Anna Maria (Gary) Miller, Michael (Holly) Andrews, and Theodora (Richard) Zika. Papou to Andrew (Kara) Miller, Demetri Miller, Eleni Miller, Alexi (Timothy) Palmer, Alecia (Chad) Vomer, Bryan Jones, and Aaron Jones. Great-Papou to Luke, Lucia, and Callie Mae Miller. Brother of Thomas (Mary) Andrews, and the late Emanuel (surviving spouse Dee) Andrews.  Godparent to Theodore Ioannou, Tina Andrews, Susan Langos.

Harry was a long-time member of the Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church in Oakmont.  He was a Dynamo at Westinghouse Nuclear.  He had generated over 26 patents during his career for Westinghouse, also heading up West Space - Westinghouse's space division.  Harry spearheaded the 3-mile island nuclear recovery team.  He loved to travel, owning a motorhome, traveling all over the country visiting every U.S. state other than Hawaii and Alaska.  Harry loved cars and was instrumental in developing the hemi engine for Chrysler.  He had a passion and love for his work as a mechanical engineer.  Above anything in his life, Harry's priority was always his love for his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Friends and relatives will be received from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at the Holy Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, 12 Washington Ave. Oakmont, PA 15139.   Following visiting hours, a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Michael A. Gavrilos officiating.  Interment will follow the luncheon (in church hall) in Plum Creek Cemetery with Coast Guard Honors. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Dormition of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church.
