Jackson Curtis Tezbir, 10, of Plum Borough, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2024 at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. He was born on September 2, 2013 to Don and Jamie Tezbir.
Despite the challenges he faced due to lissencephaly, Jackson brought immense joy and love to everyone he encountered. He had a contagious smile that could light up any room and a spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Jackson loved music, lights, Disney movies and trips, and he cherished spending time with his family, friends, nurses, and everyone he met.
He is survived by his parents, Don and Jamie, his little brother Benjamin, his grandmothers Helen and Joan, his aunt Jess and uncle Garrett, cousins Miles, Cameron and Carter, as well as a large extended family and countless friends who will miss him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Make a Wish or Western Pa School for Blind Children. Both organizations made a tremendous difference in Jackson's life. Friends and relatives will be received on Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the BURKET-TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES INC. 421 Allegheny Ave. Oakmont
A celebration of Jackson's life will be held on Friday, June 14, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and share their memories.
Jackson will forever remain in our hearts, remembered for his resilience, strength, and the unconditional love he brought into the world. May he rest in peace, free from pain and suffering.
