James "Jim" A. Shemroske, age 79 of Cheswick passed peacefully at home on Sunday September 22, 2024.

He was born on June 4, 1945, the son of the late Catherine and John Shemroske.  Loving father of Mary "Deann" Hazlewood, Kimberly (Don) Queen, Toni Marie (Henry) Dunker, and James (Rachel) Shemroske, Jr.  Papa of Jimmy Hazlewood and Emersyn Dunker.  Brother of Larry (Mary) Shemroske, Mary (Joe) Bachta, the late John "Jack" (surviving Nancy) Shemroske, and the late Carol (late Robert) Estes.

Jim was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.  He would do anything and everything for his granddaughter Emersyn who he helped raise and live with and share so much of her life with.
